About the Position:

The Events & Accommodations Listing Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the user-created inventory on the STELLAR platform. This role will focus on overseeing inventory processes, enhancing user experience around listing and purchasing items, and driving the growth of our marketplace's inventory. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to inventory management, ensuring accuracy, availability, and quality while creating opportunities to increase the platform's overall inventory base.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Creation & Management:
    • Oversee the inventory creation process from user-generated listings to verification and activation.
    • Ensure that all inventory, including travel accommodations, event tickets, and dining reservations, are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with platform standards.
    • Manage listing timelines to optimize the availability of inventory for buyers.
  • Inventory Growth & Strategy:
    • Develop and execute strategies to grow STELLAR’s inventory through user engagement and targeted campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional activities that encourage more users to list their bookings.
    • Identify and implement partnerships that expand our inventory, such as with hotels, ticket vendors, and event organizers.
  • User Experience Optimization:
    • Work closely with the product and tech teams to improve the user experience of inventory management on the platform.
    • Ensure that the listing process is intuitive and user-friendly, reducing friction and maximizing conversions.
    • Address user feedback related to the inventory listing and buying processes.
  • Data & Accountability:
    • Monitor and analyze inventory data, including listing trends, sales performance, and user activity, to inform future inventory strategies.
    • Maintain accountability for the accuracy and integrity of all platform inventory.
    • Provide regular reporting on key inventory metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and leadership teams to ensure cohesive inventory management.
    • Train and support other team members in best practices for inventory management and user engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, e-commerce, marketplace operations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of user-generated content and experience working with user-driven marketplaces.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in the travel or event ticketing industry is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000

After 90 days of employment, employees are eligible for:

  • Company-paid medical and dental benefits
  • Company-matched 401(k), up to 6% of salary matched by STELLAR
  • Paid time off (per year):
    • 12 vacation days
    • 9 bank holidays
    • 6 sick days
  • $75 per month stipend towards phone bill coverage

After first year of employment, employees are eligible for:

  • Annual incentive bonus, 3% of annual base salary
